Get started with Cart Shield in five steps
Every action is off when you install. Cart Shield scores first; you decide what it may do.

Install Cart Shield and open it
It connects its storefront pixel when you open the app, and starts scoring visits and orders straight away. Scoring needs no code in your theme.

Read Home and Orders
Each score opens to show what Cart Shield saw, so you can see why an order scored the way it did.

Choose what Cart Shield may do
Nothing is held, refused, cancelled or tagged until you choose. Blocking rules, holding flagged orders, tagging them, cancelling and refunding, the checkout gate and the decoy product are each a separate setting on the Protection page.

Turn on the app embed for the checkout gate
The checkout gate needs the Cart Shield app embed switched on in your theme editor; the Protection page links to it and tells you when the check is on but the embed is off. The check starts in Monitor, so you see what it would have done before it refuses anything.

See the score on Shopify’s order page
Open an order, press + Block under Blocks, and choose Cart Shield.
